In January this year, the 67th executive meeting of the Anhui Provincial Government passed the "Anhui Province Special Provisions on Labor Protection for Female Employees", which stipulates the menstrual period issues of female employees: If female employees are unable to work normally due to excessive menstruation or dysmenorrhea and apply for rest, the employer shall arrange for them to rest for 1 to 2 days based on the certificate of the medical institution. If an employer violates the regulations and infringes upon the legal rights and interests of female employees, female employees may file complaints, reports, and appeals in accordance with the law, apply for mediation or arbitration to the labor and personnel dispute arbitration agency in accordance with the law, or file a lawsuit in the people's court in accordance with the law. This regulation will be implemented from March 1, 2016. The "Implementation Measures for Labor Protection of Female Employees in Anhui Province" promulgated on May 19, 1990 will be abolished at the same time. |
