What is green food certification?

The green food logo is a product quality certification trademark officially registered by the China Green Food Development Center with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. The green food logo consists of three parts, namely the sun on the top, the leaves on the bottom and the buds in the center. The logo is a perfect circle, which means protection. The whole graphic depicts a harmonious vitality under the sunshine, telling people that green food is safe and pollution-free food from a pure and good ecological environment, which can bring people vigorous vitality. The green food logo also reminds people to protect the environment and create a new harmony in nature by improving the relationship between people and the environment.

Green food certification refers to safe, high-quality, nutritious food that follows the principles of sustainable development, is produced according to specific production methods, is recognized by specialized agencies, and is allowed to use the green food logo, ensuring it is pollution-free.

It has three characteristics:

First, green food is produced in a good ecological environment;

Second, green food implements quality control throughout the entire process from "farm to table";

Third, the green food logo is protected by law.

Green food should meet the following four conditions:

① The origin of the product or its raw materials must meet the green ecological environment quality standards;

② Crop planting, livestock and poultry feed, non-product breeding and food processing must comply with green food production and operation procedures;

③The packaging, storage and transportation of products must comply with green packaging, storage and transportation standards.

④The product must comply with the green food product standards;

At present, green food can be classified into seven categories: agricultural products, forestry products, livestock products, fishery products, processed food, feed and feed, and products can be divided into 53 categories.
