1. Unlike customers who entrust a third party to conduct factory inspections, BSCI factory inspections require factories to apply for factory inspections from qualified third-party notarization firms. Since BSIC adopts a membership system, factory inspections are not mandatory, but members who join the BSCI organization must commit to using BSCI standards to constrain their supply chains. Therefore, products produced by factories that have passed BSCI factory inspections must be purchased.

2. BSCI factory audit or no certificate. Since BSCI is a voluntary organization, it has not joined the International Standards Organization and is not subject to the quality supervision departments of the contracting states of the national standards organization.

3. BSCI factory audit requires the payment of audit fees to the notary office, which includes the audit fee and the auditor's travel expenses.

4. Before the BSCI factory audit, you need to submit a BSCI self-assessment form, because according to the official requirements of BSCI, the assessment can only be carried out after the system has been running for 3 months.

5. BSCI auditors are the most experienced social responsibility factory auditors. BSCI cooperates with SAI, the organization that issues the SA8000 standard, and requires all BSCI auditors to hold SA8000 senior auditor certificates. Generally, to obtain this certificate, you must have more than two years of audit experience.

6. The BSCI factory audit report can be checked online. Two weeks after the factory audit, the report will be uploaded to the BSCI official database. Entering the database with the factory's DBID number and password, you can view the factory audit results and current status.
