How to deal with surprise factory inspections

1. When factory staff receive a call from a suspected auditor pretending to be a customer, they should be able to immediately identify and respond to the call and report it to their superiors. The factory must immediately prepare for the factory inspection and be on alert. The factory must provide training for the operators and related personnel.

2. Provide training for the security guards. They must strictly check the visitors. Once they are confirmed to be auditors, they should immediately notify the leaders and all the factory employees, and delay the auditors' entry into the factory. The auditors should fill out the visitor form and issue the visitor pass. The security guards should accompany and guide the auditors into the factory. It is recommended to set up an alarm bell in the security guard room. Note that this bell is not used for alarm, but for warning the internal personnel of the factory.

3. Factory leaders must respond as soon as they learn of the arrival of auditors. They must immediately send someone to issue a factory inspection notice, ask all employees in the workshop to clean up the site immediately, ask employees who are not on the roster to evacuate the site immediately, and ask other employees to speak in unison and do their best to clean up the site as quickly as possible. Evacuation routes, off-site gathering points, and return time should be planned in advance. Training in this area should be strengthened on weekdays. For example, employees who do not participate in the factory inspection can be called together fifteen minutes before the end of get off work, and the person in charge of the factory inspection can lead everyone to walk the route and explain the precautions for evacuation.

4. The factory leaders and the accompanying factory inspection team must prepare for the reception as soon as possible, put out reception supplies such as mineral water and fruits, be friendly and actively cooperate, try not to conflict with the auditors, and actively explain any problems;
