From August 1 this year, the new version of the "National Basic Safety Technical Specifications for Textile Products" will be fully implemented, and the new national standard will have higher quality requirements for infant products. On the morning of July 11, the reporter visited many children's clothing counters in the provincial capital and found that many infant clothing counters have gradually begun to implement the new standards, but there are also some that have irregular hangtags or even no hangtags. It is understood that the new national standard for textiles will expand the scope of infant products. The previous definition of infant textile products refers to infants under 24 months old or under 80 cm in height, but now it has been expanded to infants under 36 months old or under 100 cm in height. This means that textile products for children aged 2 to 3 years old will also be included in the scope of infant textiles. Moreover, according to my country's textile regulations, infant products belong to Class A standards, which means that after the implementation of the new national standard, textile products for children aged 2 to 3 years old must also be included in Class A standards. After the implementation of the new national standard, textile products for infants and young children will be more strictly controlled. However, when parents buy clothes for their children, they should still pay more attention to the safety category of the clothes, which is more beneficial to the health of their children. |
