Home Depot Anti-Terrorism Factory Audit Requirements

Home Depot Anti-Terrorism Factory Audit Requirements :

1. Home Depot's anti-terrorism factory audit requires suppliers to comply with local laws and regulations and provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment to avoid accidents and incidents at work.

2. Encourage suppliers to comply with local/national laws and regulations when storing, managing and disposing of waste.

3. Suppliers are encouraged to provide personal protective equipment to workers exposed to hazardous working conditions.

4. Emergency Plan Emergency exits in factory and dormitory areas must remain unobstructed.

5. If the employer provides employee dormitories, they must ensure a safe and healthy accommodation environment and comply with all relevant local laws and regulations.

6. Freedom of speech and association Production units must respect workers’ right to freely join legal organizations and must not interfere with workers’ exercise of this right.

7. Audit Home Depot authorized suppliers, brand or patented product manufacturers will be audited once a year. In order to ensure that suppliers continue to meet SER requirements, Home Depot will conduct unannounced audits of factories. The audit costs are borne by the supplier. All SER audits are based on national/local laws or Home Depot standards (if not required by local laws).
