Some things to note when inspecting Avon's factory: 1. Employees who use glue must use respirators or activated carbon masks and must wear rubber gloves. MSDS and eyewash stations must be posted in all places where glue is used. Employees working in high-noise areas must wear earplugs.

Chemical warehouses must be posted with MSDS, equipped with gloves and masks, and equipped with fire extinguishing equipment according to the nature of the chemicals (generally only fire extinguishers are equipped). All chemicals must be classified and stacked on secondary leak prevention devices, and warning signs must be affixed.
3. The cutting machine workshop and warehouse must have two emergency exits, all passages must be kept unobstructed (with arrows or "Emergency Exit" signs on the passages), goods cannot exceed the yellow boundary, and materials in the warehouse must be kept 0.5m away from the wall and 0.3m away from the pillars.
4. All exits must be equipped with live “Safety Exit” signs and emergency lights. All passages must be posted with “Safety Exit” signs, which must be installed between 15 cm and 1 meter.
5. The height of the fire extinguisher should be between 0.08m and 1.5m, and its pointer should point to the green area. The fire hydrant should have a built-in hose and the word "fire hydrant" should be written on the outer shell. The fire extinguisher and fire hydrant must have maintenance records and no items should be piled around them.
6. The stairs should be kept clear (all passages) and posted with “Safety Exit” signs. The installation requirement is between 15 cm and 1 meter. Semi-finished products and other items should not be piled at the bottom of the stairs.
7. The live switch must have an iron cover and a "Danger of Live Electricity" sign should be posted. Nothing can be stacked underneath it.
8. The locomotives in the workshop must have belt covers and needle guards (if there are no needle guards, employees can be equipped with goggles). For locomotives that really lack protective devices, they can be covered with tarpaulins and affixed with "suspended use" or "waiting for maintenance" signs. All machines must have maintenance records. BV factory inspection does not require scissors to be tied (it is best to tie them), there must be no broken needles in the locomotive parking space, and there can only be one needle in one parking space.
9. Toilets must have doors and must be equipped with hand sanitizer, paper towels, and trash cans.
10. The first aid kit must be fully stocked with medicines and cannot be locked. The name and contact information of the first aid personnel must be posted on the kit.
11. If the canteen is involved in the factory inspection, the canteen must have a health permit, the canteen staff's health certificates, and preferably uniform clothing. The canteen must be clean and tidy, with all kinds of fire-fighting facilities complete, and the canteen and workshop must be separated.
12. If dormitories are involved in the factory inspection, they must be kept clean and tidy. Each employee living in the dormitory must have a lockable locker. All passages in the dormitory must be kept unobstructed and have evacuation signs or "safety exit" signs. There must be an energized "safety exit" sign and emergency lights at the exit.
13. The data dates of all documents must be consistent (such as wages, attendance, broken needle records, leave notes, warehouse delivery orders, material requisition forms, etc.). Warehouse receipt and delivery documents cannot appear on Sundays or outbound factories. Monthly overtime hours cannot exceed sixty hours. All these documents must be kept for one year and there must be no records of working on Sundays.
14. Employee files must be prepared (such as the registration form and the copy of the photo ID card attached to it, and the labor contract)
15. Safety training records (fire safety, job safety, personal protective equipment, chemical use), including at least two fire drills per year (first a fire drill notice, then a fire drill report and photos).
16. General factory documents required for factory inspection: factory floor plan, factory rules or employee handbook, list of union members, charter meeting minutes (not required if there is no union), safety committee structure diagram, factory safety system, emergency accident handling plan.
17. Legal documents required for factory inspection: local government documents on minimum wage standards, comprehensive timekeeping or extended overtime approval, business license, tax registration certificate including national tax, local tax (NW), social insurance certificate and receipt, fire acceptance certificate/registration of factory buildings/dormitories, environmental protection documents (environmental impact assessment report/environmental project completion acceptance report/pollution discharge permit/hazardous waste recycler qualification certificate/hazardous waste transfer contract/hazardous waste transportation form), if there are underage workers, there must be a physical examination certificate of the underage workers and a registration form from the labor department, employee occupational health examination or physical examination report, special operation worker operation certificate, special equipment file, if there is a canteen, there must be a hygiene permit and health certificate for the staff.
18. Appendix 1: Checking steps for salary sheet, attendance sheet, leave slip, and resignation list: 1. First check an attendance sheet against the calendar to make sure that there are no Sundays and holidays, and then calculate whether the overtime hours are within the standard of 60 hours. 2. Spot check a person's salary sheet to see whether his basic salary meets the local minimum wage standard stipulated by the government, whether the overtime pay during normal hours is equal to 1.5 times the normal salary, whether the overtime pay during weekends is twice the normal salary, and whether the overtime pay during holidays is three times the normal salary. If there are other deduction items, check whether they are reasonable. 3. Check the attendance sheet against the salary sheet to see whether the list corresponds, and then see whether the working hours and overtime hours correspond. If there is an abnormal attendance, check the leave slip or the date of entry into the factory (check on the employee roster or the list of resigned personnel) according to the situation, and exclude those who are judged to have resigned and check whether there are people who have been excluded on the salary sheet. If so, mark the symbol. 3. Check the excluded attendance sheet and resignation list with the resignation salary sheet.
19. Appendix 2: Factory Inspection Process (AVON): If it is the first factory inspection, the factory first prepares the factory inspection application materials (including factory personnel, machinery and equipment, corporate legal person and other information). After the application is successful, BV will issue a confirmation letter to confirm the factory inspection date. If the factory inspection result is a red light, it will be frozen. If the factory inspection result is an orange light, BV will follow up and review within 60-90 days after submitting the CAP. If it is a yellow light, our department can follow up. Orange and yellow lights need to write CAP (completed within ten days), and green lights have no CAP. If it is a follow-up factory inspection, the factory needs to pay the factory inspection fee of US$750, and BV will issue a payment notice. After we pay on behalf of the factory or the factory pays by itself, BV will issue a confirmation letter to confirm the factory inspection date. If the factory inspection result is a red light, BV will follow up and review within 30-60 days after submitting the CAP. If the factory inspection result is an orange light, BV will follow up and review within 60-90 days after submitting the CAP. If it is a yellow light, our department can follow up. Green lights have no CAP. The basic process of the factory inspection day is: first meeting, factory tour, document inspection, employee interview, and final meeting. After the factory passes the factory inspection, there is no need for factory inspection within two years, but there may be surprise inspections.
20. Appendix III: Factory inspection guidance for new factories: The first step is to understand the actual situation of the factory in detail and check whether its original documents and materials meet the requirements of the factory inspection. For those that do not meet the requirements, they should be improved one by one according to the factory inspection standards. The focus should be on understanding its original work schedule and salary calculation method to determine the method of its attendance sheet and salary sheet. The second step is to check each site of the factory to determine whether the factory's dormitories and canteens are involved in the factory inspection. For the sites that are involved in the factory inspection, they should be improved according to the factory inspection standards.
