The idea of "5S Management " is very simple and plain. It puts forward requirements for the daily behavior of every employee in the company , advocates starting from small things, and strives to make every employee develop the habit of being "particular" in everything, so as to achieve the goal of improving the overall work quality. 5S are the first letters of the Japanese alphabet, and their meanings are: Seiri: Clear away unwanted things in the workplace. Seiton: Keep all items in the workplace in a neat and orderly state and mark them as necessary. Prevent disorder such as random stacking, product confusion, and inability to find items. Cleanliness (Seiso): Keep the working environment and equipment , instruments, fixtures, measuring tools, materials, etc. clean at all times. Maintenance (Seiketsu): Develop a habit of persistence, supplemented by certain supervision and inspection measures. Literacy (**shke): Establish a civilized, positive and dedicated spirit, such as respecting others, caring for public property, abiding by the rules, and having a strong sense of time. When an enterprise implements 5S management, it means to carry out rectification in the five aspects mentioned above, train employees, and strengthen the concept of civilized production , so that the environment of each place in the enterprise and the behavior of each employee can meet the requirements of the 5S spirit. Judging from the current situation of 5S management being implemented by domestic and foreign companies, it is effective in improving the production site environment, enhancing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, creating a corporate atmosphere, and establishing a good corporate culture. Since the implementation of 5S management has many advantages, can it be applied to enterprises implementing ISO9000 ? The author believes that using 5S management as an auxiliary method for implementing ISO9000 and introducing it into enterprises implementing ISO9000 can play a good role in promoting the implementation of ISO9000 and is a method worth promoting. The author deeply realized the benefits of introducing 5S into enterprises during the ISO9000 consultation process. First, it drives the overall corporate atmosphere. When implementing ISO9000, companies need to create a good atmosphere of "everyone actively participates and everything complies with the rules." This is often the focus and difficulty of ISO9000 consulting work. The implementation of 5S can play the above role. This is because the requirements of each element of 5S are closely related to the daily behavior of employees, which is relatively easy to resonate with, and it is not difficult to implement, which is conducive to mobilizing employees' sense of participation and achievement, thereby making it easier to drive the overall corporate atmosphere. Second, it can show results and enhance confidence. As we all know, the effect of implementing ISO9000 is long-term, and it takes a certain period of time for its effect to be reflected. However, the effect of on-site management is immediate. Introducing 5S in the process of promoting ISO9000 can enhance the confidence of the enterprise by achieving good on-site management results in a short period of time. Third, implementing the 5S spirit is a necessary way to improve quality. 5S advocates starting from small things and being particular about everything you do. Product quality is the sum of the quality of all work related to the product. If every employee develops the habit of being particular about work, there is no reason why product quality will be bad. On the contrary, even if the ISO9000 system is good, without a good work style as a guarantee, product quality may not be able to be greatly improved. |
