Customer factory audit on forced labor issues

Forced labor includes prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, slave labor, and involuntary labor under the threat of punishment. The so-called prison labor is because prisoners or prisoners in labor camps are punished by the state for violating the law , and their labor is involuntary. The so-called contract labor means that the worker's freedom of movement is strictly restricted, just like a contract of sale. Employers often prohibit workers from leaving freely, or contract workers cannot freely choose to end the employment relationship. During the factory inspection, auditors are concerned about: 1) Do employees need to pay a deposit or ID card when they are hired? 2) When inspecting the factory or questioning employees, at-will employment is one of the important items. They are also concerned about whether employees can receive full wages when they resign reasonably. 3) Can workers leave the factory or dormitory freely after get off work? 4) Will I be fined or fired if I am unwilling to work overtime? 5) Are there security guards on site to monitor workers when they go to work? |
