Basic working hours system

ü Any time beyond 8 hours on a working day is considered overtime, and the overtime pay is 150% of the normal salary

ü The employer shall arrange workers to work on rest days in accordance with the law and give priority to compensatory leave; if compensatory leave cannot be arranged, the employer shall pay the worker a wage not less than 200% of the worker's daily or hourly wage standard stipulated in the labor contract.

Features of comprehensive timing:

Based on the 60- hour work week, the factory can only work 40 weeks and 40 hours of normal work under comprehensive timekeeping. This means that the factory can no longer work for 11 weeks and 20 hours a year, regardless of whether there are orders on hand.

Factories that implement comprehensive timekeeping have the following exemptions: 1 ) One day off in seven days; 2 ) Overtime cannot exceed 3 hours per day (under the conditions that workers can physically endure)

For overtime beyond 40 hours per week, the factory only needs to pay 150 % of the regular salary, regardless of whether the overtime is on Saturday or Sunday; for overtime on statutory holidays, the factory must pay workers 300 % of the regular salary.
