KOHL'S Business Partner Contract Terms KOHL'S promises to always adhere to laws and humanitarianism in all business activities. All suppliers and contract companies (business partners) of KOHL'S must also fully comply with national and local laws and regulations in their production operations and business activities. All business partners must maintain a high level of business ethics and respect human rights. If the requirements of industrial standards exceed the requirements of local regulations, the higher standards shall prevail. Our company's standards are summarized as follows:

Employee Employment Standards: KOHL'S only conducts business with business partners who respect the legitimate rights and interests of their employees. The employees of these business partners can work voluntarily, enjoy equal treatment, receive reasonable remuneration, and do not take risks in operations that may endanger their health. They have freedom of association and are not subject to any form of exploitation or fraud.

Wages and Benefits: KOHL'S's business partners must pay reasonable wages to their employees and provide corresponding benefits in accordance with legal provisions. The standards of wages and benefits shall not be lower than (a) the standards stipulated by relevant laws, and (b) the general standards of similar local production units. In addition to the remuneration paid to employees for their normal working hours, they should also be compensated for overtime work, and the overtime pay should be based on the rate prescribed by law. In countries without such regulations, overtime pay should be at least equal to the worker's normal salary. KOHL'S believes that wages are extremely important for meeting the basic living needs of workers. KOHL'S will seek and give priority to business partners who are committed to continuously improving employee wages and benefits.

Working hours and rest days: Business partners should limit the normal working hours and overtime of employees so that they do not exceed the scope stipulated by law for relevant industries. Business partners must arrange reasonable fixed rest time for workers and ensure that employees have at least one day off every seven days. Any working time beyond the normal local working hours must be compensated in accordance with relevant legal provisions.

Child labor: Child labor is strictly prohibited. Business partners must fully comply with regulations regarding restrictions on the work of minors, especially regarding their working hours, wages, minimum education level, working conditions, etc.
Child labor refers to anyone under the age of 15 (or 14 if permitted by the laws of the country). In addition, if the age for completing compulsory education in the country is greater than 15, anyone under the age for completing compulsory education is also considered a minor. KOHL'S will not do business with business partners who use or agree to use child labor.
