What are the eBay rules?

In the previous articles, we learned about eBay's entry and eBay's site. Today, let's take a look at eBay's rules:

1. Choose the correct item category

Items must be listed in the correct category. If there are multiple subcategories of the items for sale, the items must be listed in the corresponding category.

2. Correctly set the location of the item

Sellers must truthfully fill in the shipping location of the item in the "Item Location" column: Generally, the item location must match the account information. If the item is located in another place or country, be sure to select the real location when listing (do not just declare it in the item description) to avoid unnecessary transaction disputes in the future; special attention should be paid to the setting of shipping fees to match the item location;

If the account information is China, the item location is the United States, and the item is purchased by a US seller, the shipping price must match the local US shipping price and cannot be set as the shipping price from China to the United States.

3. Use links that meet eBay standards

When you list an item on eBay, you may use some links in the item description to help promote the item. However, some types of links are not allowed. For example, you may not link to a personal or commercial website. Please note that this link policy applies to any text or image (such as a photo, trademark or icon) that can lead users outside of eBay. No link may point to a page outside of eBay that contains information about the sale of an item.

eBay image rules:

High-quality pictures can provide buyers with a better shopping experience and make items easier to sell, so eBay has a set of detailed standards for item picture postings:

a. All listings must contain at least one picture;

b. The longest side of the image must not be less than 500 pixels; (800 pixels or more is recommended)

c. The image must not contain any borders, text or illustrations;

This is the end of the introduction to eBay rules in this issue. If you want to get more information about eBay rules, please continue to pay attention~
