On May 4, 2011, Flixster and Rotten Tomatoes were acquired by Warner Bros. According to data provided by the Alexa toolbar, Flixster had 20-50 million page views per day from November 2006 to January 2007. According to Quantcast.com data, Flixster's page views reached an all-time peak of 8,331,961 on January 23, 2008. On July 5, 2008, the site's traffic dropped to 1,325,685. Flixster's Facebook app, called "Movies," has been one of the most popular apps on Facebook. In December 2007, the total number of Flixster app users reached an all-time peak.
