Rakuten Ebates is an American rebate website that was acquired by Rakuten in 2014 and renamed Rakuten in May 2019. Ebates (Rakuten) provides users with overseas shopping solutions. Users can find the latest discount information of overseas merchants on Ebates, and can also receive high rebates for shopping.

How to register for Rakuten Ebates?

How to register with Ebates (Rakuten)? It is actually very simple. You can complete the registration by just filling in your email address and password. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Log in to https://www.rakuten.com/zh/index.htm and click "Join" in the upper right corner

Rakuten Ebates supports Google and Facebook login accounts

2. If you don't have a Google or Facebook account, please fill in your email address and password, then click the red button to complete the registration.

3. Go to personal account settings and fill in the basic information. Be sure to fill in your personal address because after filling in the address, Ebates will send a verification code to your personal email. Then follow the instructions to fill in the verification code.

4. After filling in the address, choose the payment method. Ebates settles once a quarter (three months) and sends Cash Back to members in one of the following two payment methods:

(1) Send a physical check (Big Fat Check) to the address.

(2) Pay via PayPal. If you choose this method, you must first verify your PayPal account and allow Ebates to link it.

Ebates stipulates that Cash Back will only be paid if it exceeds $5, otherwise it will continue to accumulate until the next quarter, and will not be sent to members in a designated manner until it exceeds $5. Members can log in to their accounts online at any time to check the real-time accumulated cash back amount in their accounts.
