What is the GRS Global Recycling Standard certification process?

The Global Recycling Standard GRS certification process is as follows:

Step 1: Apply.

CU is a certification company headquartered in the Netherlands with offices in China. After CU receives the formally signed application form and verifies that it is correct, it will initiate a project to evaluate the feasibility of the certification and related costs.

Step 2: Contract.

After evaluating the application form, the review agency will quote based on the application. The estimated cost will be detailed in the contract. The applicant will confirm and sign as soon as possible after receiving the contract.

Step 3: Register.

After receiving the signed contract and verifying that it is correct, the review agency will register the applicant and issue a registration number.

Step 4: Payment.

After the review agency issues a quotation contract, the enterprise must pay.

Step 5: Review.

After confirming that the necessary system documents have been sorted out, the audit agency will arrange auditors to conduct on-site audits and issue a formal report within two weeks after the audit.

Step 6: Issue the certificate.

The audit agency will issue the certificate within two weeks after receiving the official report. If there are non-conformities during the audit, different measures will be taken according to the actual situation. All non-conformities will be corrected within the specified time before the certificate can be issued. A draft of the qualification certificate will be issued to the applicant before the original is issued. After the applicant confirms that it is correct, the original qualification certificate will be issued and sent to the applicant's designated address.
