Common personal protection issues and solutions during BSCI factory audits (I) Chemical handling workers not wearing PPE

Problem phenomenon: Employees exposed to chemicals do not wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Solution: Employees engaged in screen printing should wear masks, gloves and other appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure the health and safety of operators.
BSCI clause: B.11.2. a) Is adequate personal protective equipment such as goggles, glasses, gloves, earplugs, boots and protective clothing available at companycost?
