What are wish Tags?

For Wish sellers, the tags are actually for the system. When sellers upload products, there is no category tree to choose from, and there are only 10 tags to fill in. These 10 tags actually play the role of a category tree. The Wish platform will comprehensively determine what category the product belongs to based on the tags written by our sellers.

How to optimize Wish Tags?

1. Wish Tags should be set accurately.

2. Wish Tags are not the same as keywords.

Before setting Wish Tags, sellers need to consider product positioning, group attributes, and quality demands of the target group. By analyzing step by step, new tags will be generated.

3. Refer to the writing method of Wish Tags for hot-selling products.

You can also refer to the writing methods of Wish Tags for hot-selling products, but you are not required to copy them. You can also search for keywords on eBay and AliExpress for reference.

4. Add minority language keywords to Wish Tags.

Wish tags are usually in English. When people from many minority language countries search for their favorite products, their first reaction is to use their native language. If the regions targeted by some of your product categories are already clear, you might as well take a different approach and use German, French, etc. to set tags, so that your products are likely to be received by more users.

5. Avoid competing with popular tags.

7. Try to fill in all ten words in the tags, and pay attention to the combination of precision and breadth.

8. Try to reduce the frequent use of long-tail words (the longest should not exceed 3 characters).

9. If you don’t know how to fill in the form, you can refer to some labels of other sellers based on data analysis websites.
