HubSpot — Building a User Growth Platform

HubSpot — Building a User Growth Platform

What is HubSpot?

HubSpot is the pioneer of inbound marketing, a new way of engaging with customers conceived by MIT students Brian Halligan (founder and CEO of HubSpot) and Dharmesh Shah (founder and CTO of HubSpot). Its products and services are designed to provide tools for social media marketing, content management, web analytics, and search engine optimization.

HubSpot Services:

The HubSpot software platform includes integrated applications such as social media, SEO, blogging, website content management, marketing automation, email, CRM, analytics, and reporting, enabling businesses to attract visitors to their websites and convert visitors into leads.

HubSpot also offers professional, phone- and email-based support.

HubSpot's early tool was called "WebsiteGrader", which automatically analyzes your website and gives it an optimization score. This tool saves HubSpot a lot of time visiting websites. It only needs to "crawl" and analyze the "official websites" of all large, medium and small enterprises, and continuously generate automatic analysis results.

Steps of HubSpot Marketing:

HubSpot pioneered Inbound Marketing, a new marketing model that integrates email, social media, and website design, and is easy to operate. The process is divided into four steps.

The first step is to attract traffic: through SEO, production of high-quality content, etc., to enable users to actively learn about the company when using search or social networks, and convert them into website visitors;

The second step is conversion: some users who visit the company's website have the intention to buy, and they fill out forms or link social accounts, leave corresponding contact information, and become potential customers of the company;

The third step is to close the deal: send emails and make phone calls to potential customers, continue to follow up, and finally close the deal to convert the user into a purchasing customer.

The last step is continuous word-of-mouth marketing: After the customer completes the transaction, continue to provide follow-up services including customer service to satisfy the customer and ultimately form a word-of-mouth effect.
