Jiangsu's minimum wage standard will be adjusted next month, rising to 1,770 yuan in first-class areas
| On the 19th, the reporter learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security that, with the approval of the Provincial People's Government, the minimum wage standard of the province will be adjusted from January 1, 2016. Among them, the monthly minimum wage standard is: 1,770 yuan in Class I areas, an increase of 140 yuan; 1,600 yuan in Class II areas, an increase of 140 yuan; 1,400 yuan in Class III areas, an increase of 130 yuan. The hourly minimum wage standard for part-time employment is: 15.5 yuan in Class I areas, 14 yuan in Class II areas, and 12 yuan in Class III areas. The minimum wage standard does not include: overtime wages; allowances for special working environments and conditions such as mid-shift, night shift, high temperature, low temperature, underground, toxic and harmful; and welfare benefits for workers stipulated by laws, regulations and the state. After excluding the excluded content and the individual's housing provident fund contributions according to the lower limit, the monthly salary paid by the employer to the worker shall not be lower than the minimum wage standard.
