IKEA's anti-terrorism factory inspection has eight main regulations on fire extinguishers: 1. IKEA suppliers should be equipped with appropriate fire extinguishing equipment. The installation point and maximum distance should comply with relevant laws and regulations or special approval from the government fire department. In the absence of laws and regulations or special approval, the maximum distance between fire extinguishing equipment shall not exceed 25 meters. 2. Fire extinguishers should be clearly marked and recognizable from a distance. Fire extinguishing equipment must be easily accessible to employees and properly maintained to maintain good performance. Fire hydrants (water hoses) must not be locked. 3. All fire extinguishers must be properly maintained. Suppliers should establish internal regular inspection procedures, check the function of fire extinguishers at least once every 12 months, and keep records or post tags on the fire extinguishers. 4. Fire extinguishers should be placed in obvious and easily accessible locations without affecting safe evacuation. 5. For fire extinguisher installation points with obstructed vision, luminous signs indicating their locations should be installed. 6. Fire extinguishers should be placed firmly, with their nameplates facing outwards. Portable fire extinguishers should be placed in fire extinguisher boxes or on hooks or brackets, with the top of the fire extinguisher not more than 1.50m above the ground and the bottom not less than 0.08m above the ground. Fire extinguisher boxes should not be locked. 7. Fire extinguishers should not be placed in humid or highly corrosive places. If they must be placed, appropriate protective measures should be taken. Fire extinguishers placed outdoors should have appropriate protective measures. 8. Fire extinguishers shall not be installed in locations beyond their operating temperature range. The number of fire extinguishers installed in a computing unit shall not be less than 2. The number of fire extinguishers at each installation point shall not exceed 5. |
