Walmart launches "Green Product Promotion Week"

Walmart will recommend different energy-saving home appliances in different places across the country, such as energy-saving lamps, energy-saving TVs, water-saving washing machines, energy-saving sockets, energy-saving pressure cookers, etc. For example, the LED TVs that are being launched can save about 35% of electricity compared to traditional LCD TVs.

Among daily chemical products, Walmart will focus on recommending water-saving products such as hand sanitizer and phosphorus-free laundry detergent. In the fresh food area, Walmart mainly promotes green, organic fruits and vegetables and grains from farms directly purchased from farmers and supermarkets. The home furnishing store mainly promotes home furnishing products made of environmentally friendly materials.

Walmart also cooperates with suppliers to improve product packaging to reduce the use of plastic and environmental pollution. For example, Lux 1000ml shower gel is packaged in biodegradable plastic bags.
