First of all, we all know that ISCC CORSIA refers to the International Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for Aviation, and the raw materials certified by ISCC CORSIA or ISCC CORSIA PLUS are sustainable aviation fuels. ISCC CORSIA and ISCC CORSIA PLUS are two independent standards. The main difference lies in the different requirements for the sustainability standards of biomass they contain. For farms or plantations, ISCC CORSIA currently focuses on high carbon stock land, and the requirements for social standards are under discussion. However, ISCC CORSIA PLUS not only focuses on high carbon stock land, but also on social standards and good management practices for farms or plantations. That is to say, ISCC CORSIA now includes 2 sustainable standard requirements. ISCC CORSIA PLUS includes 6 sustainable standard requirements, namely, 6 major principles. These 6 major principles include 2 official ICAO sustainable standards. Therefore, farms or plantations that meet the ISCC CORSIA PLUS standard will automatically meet the ISCC CORSIA standard. For both systems, the entire supply chain of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is covered, including farms/plantations or forest management units and collection points, traders, HVO plants, etc. in the supply chain. For collection points, processing units and traders in the supply chain, the audit requirements of ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA (PLUS) are slightly different. Therefore, it is easier for ISCC EU certified customers to apply for ISCC CORSIA or ISCC CORSIA PLUS . Special note: ISCC EU and ISCC CORSIA (PLUS) are different systems with different regulatory agencies. The regulatory agency of ISCC EU is the European Commission. However, the regulatory agency of ISCC CORSIA (PLUS) is the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). There is no mutual recognition between the two, so the entire supply chain of sustainable aviation fuel needs to be certified by ISCC CORSIA (PLUS). What should I do if an incorrect POS is issued? First of all, Nabisy's data cannot be modified by itself. According to the error type, there are three ways to deal with it: Quantity error If the quantity is small, you can directly issue a second sustainability certificate (PoS). If the quantity is large, there are three options: 1) You are a manufacturer and also have a trader account. You transfer the excess quantity to your trader account and then sell it to other customers 2) If the downstream customers are long-term and regular customers, reduce the number of sustainability certificates for the next batch; 3) If the downstream customer is a one-time customer, there is no plan to ship in the future, and there is no trader account, then contact the certification body and submit an application form to cancel the POS. If there are any errors other than quantity, please contact the certification body, fill it out, and then both parties sign it and submit it to BLE.
