Walmart changes some of its factory inspection standards in 2015

In 2015, some of Walmart's factory inspection standards have been revised. For those regulations that have not been updated, the previous standards will continue to be used. Some standards are stricter than before, while others are more relaxed compared to before.

The latest revised terms are as follows:
1) The fire escape door must be opened towards the escape exit;
2) An ODS inventory needs to be established;
3) Chemical warehouses must have secondary leak prevention, and eyewash stations must be installed outside. It cannot be too simple, otherwise some auditors will not approve it;
4) The production workshops, warehouses and dormitories of garment factories must be equipped with smoke alarms. Some factories only require warehouses and dormitories to be equipped with smoke alarms. It depends on the products produced by the factory.
5) The factory building must have a qualified "fire inspection and acceptance report" issued by the fire department;
6) All documents such as "Emergency Procedures" and "Accident Handling" must be kept with plans and implementation records;
7) Each workshop must be equipped with at least two first aid personnel, one of whom must be on duty at all times;
8) Volunteer firefighters need to undergo professional training and obtain certificates;
9) The discharge of production and domestic wastewater must obtain an "Environmental Impact Assessment Report";
10) Chemical storage warehouses should be at least 30 meters away from warehouses and dormitories;
11) All fire-fighting guidance signs are only of the light type. If they are fluorescent types, they must be replaced.
