Countermeasure 1: Win the market by product quality
Chinese enterprises still have an incomplete understanding of technical trade barriers. In fact, there are many trade barriers similar to SA8000. But no matter which international standard system can be recognized by everyone internationally, it must be advanced. The key for enterprises is to improve their product quality, implement the policy of winning by quality, and improve the management level of enterprises. Especially export-oriented enterprises and enterprises that have already met certain conditions should actively strive for certification of various standards. For export-oriented export enterprises, the requirements of various export markets are different. Therefore, export enterprises should pay attention to the collection of relevant information in the industry. At present, many enterprises have no awareness of collecting information.

Countermeasure 2: Unify technical standards and accelerate international integration. Since my country's economic laws and regulations and legal system construction on internationalization are quite backward, almost all international standards are now formulated by foreign countries. We have not done enough in this regard. With the gradual internationalization of my country's economy, while actively moving closer to international technical regulations, we should also actively participate in or undertake the formulation of international standards. If we formulate them ourselves, we will consider our own conditions and put forward our views on the international standard system. Secondly, my country currently needs to formulate its own unified technical standards and regulations to improve the quality of our products.

Countermeasure 3: Accelerate the establishment of a trade barrier early warning mechanism
Since the structure of my country's export products are all labor-intensive products, labor costs are an important comparative advantage of my country, and the products subject to SA8000 are mainly labor-intensive products, it is expected that this standard will gradually have an increasing impact on China's foreign trade. Therefore, my country should speed up the establishment of a trade barrier early warning mechanism to have an early warning of the impact of SA8000 on labor-intensive products. In addition, we should be good at guiding industry associations and import and export chambers of commerce to actively play an intermediary role. In particular, import and export intermediary organizations are the bridge between factories in the Pearl River Delta and the European and American markets. They are well-informed, have good business networks, and can coordinate the work of both ends. The role they play is very important. Industry associations, import and export chambers of commerce and import and export middlemen can often play a role that governments and enterprises cannot play in this regard.
