What is Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a foreign social media management platform. HootSuite uses the algorithm developed by Klout to calculate Internet influence, helping companies to classify their followers according to their influence on Twitter, so that companies and brands can better communicate with their followers.

What are the features of Hootsuite?

Klout measures a user's influence on Twitter based on how many active followers he or she has, how many clicks on the links he or she posts, and how he or she interacts with other users.

When browsing followers or replying to messages on HootSuite, users can filter followers based on their Klout score (from 0 to 100). Use the slider in the upper right corner of the interface to adjust the desired Klout score, filtering out more influential Twitter users as the score increases.

HootSuite also supports filtering followers by keyword, which can be useful if a brand has a large number of followers, helping to find the most useful Twitter messages or potential customers.

HootSuite also adds some additional information for each user. In addition to the standard Twitter profile, HootSuite adds the user's age, gender and additional profile photo in the new "Insight" (advanced profile) tab, as well as the user's public profiles on other social sites, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Plaxo, Amazon, eBay, StumbleUpon and Pandora.

HootSuite displays all of this data in the same simple interface, which helps businesses better understand their potential customers.
