What are style items? For products that have multiple variations, you can create one fixed-price listing that includes all the variations, rather than creating multiple separate listings. For example, a T-shirt may have multiple color and size options, and buyers can choose the style they want to purchase in a single listing. Benefits of listing all styles at the same time: Save time—list only once. Save money—pay less listing fees and enjoy discounted rates on a wide variety of images. Greater visibility - When buyers shop from your multiple listings, your listing will be displayed first based on the "best match" search. Which categories allow listing of multiple models? Currently, you can list multiple items in most of the following categories (based on the US site): Baby Products Crafts Health and Beauty Clothing, Shoes & Accessories Home and Garden Pet Products Sporting Goods Currently, the "Negotiate" and "Bulk Sell" options are not available for listings of multiple items. Listing items After selecting a category for your new listing, you will see a pop-up window asking if you want to list multiple variations of the item, select "Yes" and then press the "Continue" button to complete the steps in the "List Different Variations" tool. Please make sure you meet the conditions for listing multiple styles. 1. Set the difference of item styles Item styles are details that allow buyers to choose color, size, etc. You can select from a list of style details, or click the "Add custom style details" button to enter custom details. You can select up to 5 style details. Example: If you sell items in small, medium, and large sizes, press Size, then select S, M, and L. You don't have to select all the options on the list, if the style details do not apply to your item, please skip it. When naming your style details, use common words that buyers search for, such as "size" and "color." Certain categories of style details cannot use certain words, such as "brand" and "condition." Note: The first style you select will be shown with the image. Please make sure that the first style you select is visible in the image, such as the color or sleeve style, but not the size or manufacturer. Once you have completed this step, please click the "Continue" button. 2. Set common specifications for items Item Details are specifications that apply to all items in your listing. You can select item details such as "Brand" or "Manufacturer" from the list. If the item details you need are not listed, please click the "Add Custom Item Details" button and enter the specific item details name (such as manufacturer or year) and at least one setting value (such as Acme or 1998). If the item details do not apply to your item, please skip it. Example: If all items in your listing are made of cotton, select "Material" from the drop-down menu, then click "Cotton." The style details you set in step 1 will not appear on the item details list, and you cannot add them to the list. Example: If you have selected "Color" as a Style Detail, you cannot enter it as an Item Detail. You can add up to 15 item details. Please add as many item details as possible because the more item details you have, the easier it will be for buyers to find your item. Once you have completed this step, please click the "Continue" button. 3. Create style details You can give your style a unique name, custom label, or stock keeping unit (SKU). Press the "Create Style Details" button and the system will automatically create a list of all product styles. Then edit the list and remove inappropriate styles until the list only contains the items you sell. We will use the information you provide to create a list: Style details Custom labels or SKUs You can also create your own style detail list; enter the name or stock keeping unit number (SKU) in the form and select the style details from the drop-down menu until you have created a sales list that suits your needs. Once you have completed this step, please click the "Continue" button. 4. Added shared pictures and style pictures Shared images show the general appearance of the item. Style images show the differences between styles of the item. In the shared image, you can show all the styles (e.g. all colors) in a single image, show a pair of items, close-ups or other angles. If you don't want to use other style images, the shared image will be the default image. Example: If you don't want to include a style image for a pink T-shirt, when a buyer selects the pink T-shirt they will see the shared image showing all colors. You can use style images to display the individual colors of items, or the first style details you set; if you want to add new pictures to display various style details, please click the "Change Style" button. When you change the style details displayed by the picture, all the style pictures you have added will be deleted. You can add up to 12 shared images, and each style detail can add up to 12 images. You don't need to add images for all style details. In order to allow you to add more pictures, there are preferential prices for pictures of multiple styles. Please see eBay listing fees for details. To understand how the image is presented to buyers, see the "What Buyers See" section on the right side of the page. To see the images and styles as they will appear in the listing, press the "Preview Listing" button. Once all images have been added, press the "Continue" button. 5. Enter quantity and price information To enter or modify prices for multiple styles at once, select the styles you want to edit and press the "Edit Fixed Price" button. Enter the price for the style. To see how this information will appear in the listing, press the "Preview Listing" button. You can use this page to track items for sale, update quantities when new stock is added, and change the price of a style. Please click the "Save" button to save the style information and continue filling out the selling form. View and manage listings To view and manage your listings, go to the Selling section of My eBay and click on the Active Items link. The "Items for Sale" section displays the current listings and links for your variants. Please click the "Go to variant" button to view your variants. When viewing a listing with multiple variations, click "Show Variations" to display all variations of the listing. If the styles have different prices, the price column will show the lowest price of the item until you click "Show Styles", which will then display all the styles of the item and you can see the individual prices of each style. The complete multi-item list will also show: Inventory slot style details Number of buyers tracking the item Prices of individual styles The remaining time to list the item Contains commonly used drop-down menus such as "Sell Similar" and "Modify". Sorting Items can only be sorted on pages that do not display all items. If you sort by price, multiple item styles will use the lowest item price. Restocking When an item needs to be restocked: You will see an "out of stock" note and information tag on the listing. A drop-down menu will display the Restock options and direct you to the Edit Listing page. You can also view your listings, sold items, and unsold items in "My eBay". Modify listing You can modify your listing by selecting "Edit" from the "My eBay" drop-down menu or by clicking the "Edit Listing Details" link on the listing page. If you change the category, all the styles listed may be deleted and you will have to re-create the style information. If you decide to change the category, you will see a page of available categories. Please select a category and click the "Continue" button. After clicking the "Change Style" button, you will be redirected to the "Enter Quantity and Price" page. If you add or delete any style details, all styles listed will be deleted and you will have to re-create the style information. After pressing the "Change Image" button, you will be redirected to the "Add Image" page. If you change any style images, you will have to upload all the images again. If you have not sold any of the items listed, you can modify, add or delete any item information. If you have sold one or more items, you can add any information, but you can only modify the price and quantity. If the buyer has purchased one or more styles of items, you can still modify, add, delete information, and then the system will create another listing version of the item description. You can see each version on the "Purchase Record" on the "Listing" page. If an item has been sold, you cannot change the listing date, category, title or sale format. |
