ISO14001 Certification Process 1. Information Exchange Through personnel visits, telephone calls, faxes, e-mails, etc., we get to know each other and determine the initial intention and feasibility of implementing the certification. 2. Certification Application Interested applicants shall fill in the "Environmental Management System Certification Application Form" and its annex "Certification Information Questionnaire". After review and approval, the Center will contact the applicant further and conduct on-site visits when necessary to understand the basic situation of the audited party and the establishment and implementation of the environmental management system, and make a written quotation. 3. Signing of the contract After obtaining the applicant organization's clear intention to sign the contract and passing the contract review, the two parties signed the "Environmental Management System Certification Service Contract". SCEMS designated the audit team leader to be responsible for the development and implementation of the audit activities from the effective date of the contract. 4. First stage review The auditee shall submit the officially released environmental management system manual and related documents to SCEMS, and the audit team leader shall organize a document review according to the certification requirements and inform the auditee of the review results in writing. If there are any non-conformities, the auditee shall make modifications until the corresponding requirements are met. 5. Second stage review The audit team will conduct on-site audits according to the certification plan. The audit requirements cover the entire scope of the application for certification and meet all requirements of the ISO14001 environmental management system standard. The audit will be conducted in the form of sampling. The second stage audit will issue non-conformities and require corrections. The on-site audit will produce a written audit report, announce the on-site audit results, and inform whether to recommend registration. 6. Correction and follow-up verification of non-conformity The follow-up verification of corrective measures can be completed by reviewing the relevant evidence submitted by the auditee. If necessary, on-site follow-up verification can also be implemented. If the on-site audit fails due to serious non-conformities, an on-site review should be conducted after the auditee completes the rectification. The review work will be charged separately according to the actual workload. 7. Approval and issuance of license The center's technical committee reviews the audit implementation process and audit report and determines whether to issue a certificate. The certification certificate is signed by the director of the center and is valid for three years. The center will announce the issuance of the certificate within the scope of the announcement. 8. Post-certification supervision During the validity period of the first certificate, the inspection will be conducted every six months, and once a year after the certificate is renewed after three years. If there are changes in the organization, production process, pollutant treatment facilities and other behaviors or activities covering environmental factors of the certificate holder, the center should be notified in time. If necessary, the number of inspections will be increased. For violations of environmental laws and regulations that cause serious harm, the number of inspections will be increased. 9. Certification requirements In order to standardize the use of certification certificates by certified organizations, the Center has the following requirements for the use of certificates by certified organizations: The certificate holder can only use the certificate and certification mark to prove that its environmental management system meets specific standards. The mark cannot be used directly on products, nor can it be used in any way that may mislead the product or service. When the certification is suspended, revoked or cancelled, no advertising involving the certification content shall be continued, and all certification documents shall be returned as required. Conditions for suspension of certification In any of the following circumstances, the Center will suspend the certificate holder's qualification to use the certificate and logo: Violation of environmental laws and regulations, causing environmental damage; the certificate holder has made changes to the certified environmental management system without the approval of the center, and the change affects the system certification qualification; non-conformity is found during the supervision and review, if the corrective measures are not completed within the deadline, the severity does not constitute the revocation of certification qualification; the certificate holder's use of the certificate and logo does not comply with the regulations of the center; the certificate holder fails to pay the certification fee on time and fails to correct it after being pointed out. Conditions for revocation of certification In any of the following circumstances, the Center will revoke the qualification of the certification and take back the certification: After the notice of suspension of certification qualification was issued, the certification certificate holder failed to take appropriate corrective measures as required; violated environmental laws and regulations, causing serious environmental damage; during supervision and re-evaluation, it was found that the certification certificate holder's environmental management system seriously did not meet the requirements, and failed to complete the corrective measures within the time limit specified by the Center; the certification certificate holder's use of the certificate and logo seriously did not comply with the Center's regulations and caused great impact. Certification cancellation conditions The certification shall be cancelled if any of the following circumstances occurs: Due to changes in the environmental management system certification rules, the system certificate holder is unwilling or unable to ensure compliance with the requirements; when the certificate expires, the certificate holder fails to apply for re-certification to the Center within 3 months before the expiration of the certificate; the certificate holder takes the initiative to cancel the certificate. |
