ICTI Certification Zero Tolerance and Serious Non-Conformance Policy 2012:

1 Zero tolerance (Examples: 1. Two or more child laborers; 2. Refusal to audit without proper reason; 3. Forced labor; 4. Physical punishment; 5. Sexual harassment; 6. Issues that directly endanger life safety, etc.)

Result: If any zero tolerance issues are found during any audit, the factory's certificate will be directly terminated.

2 Serious non-compliance items (for example: 1. Incomplete and untrue information; 2. Insufficient wages; 3. Late payment of wages; 4. Failure to guarantee one day off per week; 5. The rest time between two shifts is less than 10 hours; 6. The dormitory and workshop are in the same building; 7. There is no second emergency exit, etc.)

-The factory should provide complete information at the audit site

- If the factory is confirmed to be transparent on site, the factory can obtain an observation period certificate

- If the factory fails to be transparent on site, it must submit a correction plan (CAP) and demonstrate transparency within 30 days (factory response period), otherwise it will enter termination status

- If the factory can demonstrate transparency within 30 days after the audit (factory response period), it will also need to undergo a re-audit before entering the observation period.
