Want to open a store on eBay? What are the fees?

Learn some tips about eBay fees, learn first and earn first. As one of the world's leading cross-border e-commerce platforms, eBay has a very good traffic flow. In recent years, the traffic has been increasing, and the number of Chinese sellers has also gradually increased. So if we want to open a store on eBay, what fees do we need to know?

There are two main types of eBay:

1. Basic Fees

1) Listing Fees

As we all know, eBay sellers need to pay a certain listing fee to post a listing, but sellers can get a certain amount of free listing quota every month (the free quota varies for different types of sellers).

When your listing exceeds the free listing quantity, a listing fee of $0.3 per listing will be charged. For the free part, some categories or products are not included.

2) Transaction costs

When a seller successfully sells a product, a transaction fee will be charged. eBay transaction fees are calculated based on the fees paid by the buyer, including product costs and logistics costs.

If you don't have a store, the transaction fee for most products is 10% of the total sales, but the maximum amount does not exceed US$750.

Note: In the US site, if your account sales performance drops to belowstandardseller, the transaction fee rate will increase by a certain percentage!

If the seller subscribes to a store, there will be certain discounts on listing fees and transaction fees.

3) PayPal Fees

PayPal charges a percentage of sales

2. Advertising Fees

Promoted listings: It is a paid promotion service within eBay that can increase product exposure and sales. Listings set up with promoted listings will be promoted to certain locations. Only after the product is successfully sold through promotional activities will a corresponding commission be charged. No advertising fees will be incurred if the product is only clicked but not sold.

This is the end of the knowledge about eBay advertising fees. If you want to get more information about eBay fees, please pay attention and we will continue to answer your questions~
