"Cotton in Africa" (CmiA) is the largest cotton certification brand in Africa, bringing about 50 million pieces of textiles to the market in 2016. It is one of the world's leading standards for sustainable cotton production. Its goal is to help smallholders help themselves through trade and improve the social, ecological and economic living conditions of smallholder cotton producers and their families in sub-Saharan Africa. Moreover, under the guidance of Shanghai Chaowang, many companies have successfully obtained CmiA certificates . If you want to know more details, please call: 021-51029391 .

Jack & Jones in Denmark, Asos in the UK, Kid Interior and Aldi Süd in Norway have been users of CmiA since 2006. In 2016, around 50 million textiles were marked with the CmiA label, and the license revenue from the CmiA label increased by 47% compared to the previous year to €1,484,546.
As part of the AbTF (Trade Foundation) family of standards, in 2016, approximately 780,000 farmers were involved in production (18% of whom were women), producing a total of 320,000 tons of cotton. This means that CmiA certifies 30% of cotton production in sub-Saharan Africa. In 2016, CmiA covered more than 1.1 million hectares of cultivated area, making it the largest cotton certification standard in Africa.
CmiA not only supports rural community projects, but also provides financing guarantees. These projects include solar power generation projects for farmer training centers, drinking water stations, etc. Since 2016, the total investment has reached 950,000 euros.
